In-Home Studio Newborn Session

Congratulations on your new bundle of joy. Newborns are best photographed between 7-14 days of age. Recommend to book your session early in your 2nd or 3rd trimester and I will leave availability open around your EDD (estimated due date). As a traveling photographer, all sessions will take place in the comfort of your home.  I will bring a whole travel studio and can ideally set-up in any room in your home, don’t worry about cleaning the house, you just had a baby and make the house perfect. should be the last thing on your mind.

I will provide everything needed for the session, baby wraps, blankets, headbands, hats, and cute little outfits which go with my style. Please keep in mind my style, every photographer has their own style and you should pick the best fit you and your family. If you noticed in our work that it is very neutral and organic. I will use very little props in your session and do not focus on tons of large and bright colors that will overwhelm the baby. Although the majority of the session with be shot on white, cream or gray color tones; I do like to add a few pops of soft colors to the session.

Hospital {Fresh 48}Newborn

{Fresh 48} is a documentary style session that is held within the first 48 hours of your new baby’s life. I will come to your hospital room during daylight hours before you are discharged. When you first go into labor, or shortly after you deliver your baby, you should contact me to set up your Fresh 48 Session. This session should be done in the first 48 hours if possible (in the hospital or at home).

Fresh 48 Sessions allow me to capture the first moments between you and your baby, without the chaos of the labor & delivery staff trying to do their jobs too. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce siblings and grandparents, and have these moments captured. It can include first meetings, first diaper changes from mom or dad, skin to skin, first cloth baths, bundled and unbundled newness, breastfeeding or simply just gazing at each other. (It does not replace the newborn session so it doesn’t consist of the newborn poses, props, backdrops, lights, etc.)

I can travel to the following Michiana metro area hospitals: Elkhart General, IU Health Goshen, and Saint Joseph Regional Medical for Fresh 48 sessions. Payment in full is required upon booking to reserve your session.
I only accept a limited number of Fresh 48 sessions each month, so please reserve your session early to ensure my availability.

Lifestyle Newborn Pricing

At-home lifestyle newborn sessions will take place in the convenience of our own home. The session will be about the connection and love that family already have for this new life. Unlike pose newborn session we can photograph newborns from 7 days all the way to 1 month. I will capture special moments with all the members and the baby as well as the whole family together. We will use your bed, the nursery and any other part of your home that you wish to capture the true organic beauty of having a newborn at home. There will also be time for photos of the baby alone; these are usually done when the baby is sleepiest. I will take photos of the baby swaddled or undressed. We are also firm believers that newborns are particularly adorable in their little onesie!
